With a background in classical theatre, improv, and sketch comedy, Gary is an actor, writer and producer that has appeared in films and stage productions throughout the Pacific Northwest and Los Angeles.

Gary studied theatre at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon and the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, and later acted in professional theatre throughout the Northwest.After moving to Los Angeles, Gary learned improvisation at the Groundlings and studied Meisner technique for several years under Jeff Golblum at Playhouse West.

 

He was an active member of the sketch group Sketch Education, which performed several years in Hollywood. He appeared in the short films The Good Ones, Head Over Heels, and Miki, and Mothers. Gary wrote, produced, and starred in the short film Roast it Again, Sam, which premiered at the California Women’s Film Festival, and the New Filmmakers New York Film Festival. Recently he starred in the short film Sacrificios, where he was nominated for best actor at the Sivar en Cortos Film Festival. He recently starred in the short horror film Nahual, which is soon to be released on the festival circuit.  

 

Gary's voice talent can be heard in commercials, animated projects, and audiobooks. He recently booked a nationwide voiceover campaign for a popular snack brand.

Half Colombian and half Caucasian, he also speaks intermediate Spanish. Gary recently studied at Stan Kirsch Studios, in addition to a master class taught by Richard Schiff. He’s a warm professional with a sunny mood and a big laugh.
